Point Micrometer

The anvil and spindle of a mechanical point micrometre have pointed points for measuring narrow grooves, keyways, and other hard-to-reach places. Inch and metric measures are both available. Small groves on parts or workpieces, as well as keyways, are measured using a pointed micrometre anvil and spline. For exact, repeatable measurements, a ratchet-stop mechanism applies homogeneous pressure to a workpiece.
