It works calorimetrically: a heated thermistor loses heat to the passing air, and a second thermistor compensates for medium temperature to keep the switching point stable. An adjustable 2-60 s start-up bypass covers fan run-up.

Key features

Adjustable switching point

Switch-on bypass adjustable from 2 to 60 s

Temperature-compensated by a second thermistor

Heat drawn off by the air changes the thermistor resistance, which the unit evaluates

Clean the sensor routinely, as deposits can affect the switching point
