The Brannan 10/305/0 is a 190 mm S50-series olive oil hydrometer graduated from 0.85 to 0.90 g/ml in 0.002 g/ml divisions. It is part of Brannan's BS 718:1991 density hydrometer range: the density reading lets you work out the weight of oil per litre and judge purity, as oil reading between 0.920 and 1 contains a lot of water. It is adjusted at 20 °C and supplied in a protective, resealable plastic tube.
