Brannan part 10/335/0 is the 270 mm M50-series version of the 0.85 to 0.90 g/ml olive oil hydrometer, with finer 0.001 g/ml divisions than the short model. Measuring oil density shows the weight of oil per litre and whether it has been diluted, since a reading between 0.920 and 1 points to a lot of water. Made in the UK to BS 718:1991, it is adjusted at 20 °C and comes in a resealable plastic tube.
