Brannan 10/601/0 is a specific gravity lactometer reading 1.000 to 1.040 SG with 0.001 SG divisions and an accuracy of ±0.002 SG at 60 °F. Lactometers are milk hydrometers used to measure the density of milk; this 160 mm instrument is adjusted at 15.6 °C (60 °F). It is made in the UK from soda glass with steel shot ballast and a 16 mm bulb, and comes in a protective resealable plastic tube.
