The Brannan 10/964/0 is a general purpose specific gravity hydrometer from the M50 series, graduated from 0.80 to 0.85 SG. Because its scale sits at 0.80–0.85, the 10/964/0 is aimed at liquids lighter than water, comparing their relative density with water. At 270 mm overall, the 10/964/0 carries 0.001 SG graduations across its 0.80–0.85 span and is adjusted at 60 °F (15.6 °C). The 10/964/0 design is comparable to the hydrometers in ISO 650 and the withdrawn 1960 issue of British Standard 718.
