Brannan 10/993/0 is a general purpose S series specific gravity hydrometer graduated from 1.80 to 1.85 SG, intended for liquids denser than water. With the 0.05 SG span used across the S series, the 1.80–1.85 SG scale on the 10/993/0 is divided every 0.002. The 10/993/0 reads on the 60/60 °F specific gravity scale, comparing the sample with water at 60 °F (15.6 °C), and is 190 mm long.
