The CONCOA 308 Series is an electrically heated regulator for primary control of high flows of carbon dioxide or nitrous oxide in critical laboratory work. Three heating cartridges, a primary thermostat and a secondary safety cutout warm the seat directly so dry ice does not form and freeze the regulator. There is no fixed part number for the 308 Series; units are built to an ordering code that specifies outlet range, gauges, connections and options. Choices named by CONCOA include 115 V or 230 V AC power, 3500 or 4500 PSIG inlet ratings, and factory options such as a single station manifold with or without purge, a low-pressure alarm or multiple inlets.
