The DeFelsko PosiTest F is a mechanical magnetic pull-off gauge, often called a banana gauge, reading non-magnetic coatings on steel on a metric 0–2000 µm scale. It is the choice for thicker films such as hot dip galvanizing, hard chrome metalizing, paint, enamel and plastic coatings, and runs on a permanent rare-earth cobalt magnet with no batteries or electronics.
- Scale F: 0–2000 µm
- Tolerance ±5 µm up to 100 µm, ±5% of reading above 100 µm
- Wear-resistant carbide probe
- V-grooves in the probe housing and base for cylindrical parts
- Pre-settable GO/NO-GO button and visual/audible reading indicators
- Supplied with wrist strap and leather case with belt loops
