Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko FRS3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 FRS probe, a right-angle cabled probe for non-magnetic coatings on steel, made for areas with little headroom. With the FRS fitted, the gauge reads 0–1500 µm (0–60 mils). For coatings on steel in low headroom, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
