In order to regulate corrosive gases and liquids for high purity services, the Model TNV-1 PTFE Needle Valve is intended for use in laboratory and industrial settings. Only PTFE and PCTFE are contacted by the media. In order to reduce the "creeping" that is typically associated with PTFE, valve spindles are manufactured with ridged PCTFE. The TNV can be used as a shut-off valve and is intended for use in pressure or non-critical vacuum applications.
