An affordable clamp-on ultrasonic heat meter is the Model UBT-24 Clamp-On Ultrasonic Thermal Energy Meter. As an alternative to conventional inline thermal energy meters, it uses ultrasonic technology. The series measures energy using temperature sensors and flow using ultrasonic waves and time differentials.
