The Palmer Wahl RTC822 is a compact Z-Tip Type K surface probe with a 1 in long, 0.5 in diameter tip. It gives a fast 3 second response on a clean hot plate, quicker than the heavy duty RTC822L, and is rated to 1000 °F (537 °C). Typical targets are clean surfaces such as moulds, platens, dies, bearings and glass. It attaches to the TC829 series extension handle.
