Palmer Wahl RTC877 is a replaceable Type K surface probe for moving surfaces and rotating rollers travelling at up to 2,600 ft per minute. Teflon bars on the sensor reduce friction, keeping frictional temperature rise below 1 °F on a smooth surface. It suits rolls of 6 in diameter or larger as well as flat surfaces, and mounts on the TC829 series extension handle.
