The Digimatic digital calliper type micrometre provides exact measurements of recessed features that are impossible to attain with ordinary micrometres. Measurements are displayed on a large LCD display that is easy to read. To take exact measurements on recessed features, this digital calliper type micrometre has hardened steel jaws with carbide measuring surfaces and a hardened steel spindle. The ratchet stop mechanism on the micrometre ensures a constant measuring force on the spindle, ensuring accurate and repeatable measurements. When measuring large dimensions, the combination of the ratchet thimble and speeder allows for quick spindle feed and one-handed measurements.
