The AlphaLab MagWave (part MAGWAVE) turns one axis of a changing magnetic field into a real-time voltage that can be viewed on an oscilloscope. It reproduces pulses lasting from 1 µs to 100 ms, either single or repeating, which makes it useful for checking the output of PEMF equipment and other fast-changing magnetic sources. It responds only to field changes faster than roughly 1/10 s, so it is not intended for DC fields such as those from permanent magnets. An oscilloscope is not included.

- Scale from 1 gauss per volt (most sensitive) to 1000 mT per volt (least sensitive)
- Gauss/Tesla modes plus range control give a 10,000:1 gain span
- Maximum output ±6 V, equal to ±6 G at the most sensitive setting or ±6 T at the least
- Pulse width settings of 1 µs–1 ms (more stable) and 1 µs–100 ms
- Single-axis measurement; runs on a 9 V battery or the AC adapter, both included
