This SVM2 listing is AlphaLab's Surface DC Voltmeter supplied without the hard carry case. The handheld static charge meter is held about 25 mm (1 in) from a surface and reads without contact: on conductors it shows surface voltage, while on insulators the figure is proportional to the charge present. AlphaLab has since released the ES3 as the newer version.
