Pressure rates are electronically detected via the ASCO Joucomatic pressure switch/sensor. When the switching threshold is met, the signal at the switching output changes. Standard features include an analog output with a voltage proportional to the inlet pressure and a digital output (PNP switching output for connection to PLC). It is possible to individually modify the switch-on and switch-off points. Two potentiometers are used to accurately control the switching threshold and hysteresis. LEDs show the status of the switch. When the switching threshold P2 (increase of input pressure) is reached, the PNP output changes to +24 V. Only when the pressure drops below the switching threshold P1 does the PNP output return to 0 V.
