Low-pressure work varies from a quick leak check to a week of line monitoring. A 0-25 psi recorder with 11 selectable chart speeds covers both without a second instrument. The Barton 242E 0-25 psi recorder is built for exactly that kind of job.
The Model 242E is a two-pen recorder. One pen traces pressure and the other traces temperature on the same rotating chart, so you can see at a glance whether a pressure change followed a temperature change or happened on its own. That matters during pressure tests, where a temperature swing can explain a small pressure drop that would otherwise look like a leak.
This version uses a battery-driven chart drive with 11 selectable speeds. Faster speeds spread a short test across the chart for fine detail, while slower speeds fit a long monitoring period onto a single chart. There is no clock to wind, and the speed can be changed to suit each job.
Choose the pressure range so that your normal working or test pressure sits well inside the scale, ideally around the middle, and never above 0-25 psi. The temperature range is not stated in the listing, so confirm it with our team before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a two-pen pressure and temperature recorder do?
It records pressure and temperature continuously on one circular chart, giving a time-based record of both.
How do I choose between 0-25 psi and other ranges?
Pick a range where your normal or test pressure sits well inside the scale. For higher pressures, see the Barton 242E 0-50 psi, battery chart drive with 11 speeds. Our team can confirm the best fit.
What are the 11 selectable speeds for?
They let you match chart rotation to the job, from short tests needing fine detail to longer monitoring on one chart.
Is 0-25 psi also available with a different chart drive?
Yes. See the Barton 242E 0-25 psi, 24 hr/7 day mechanical drive.
Do I need a different recorder for short and long jobs?
No. Changing the chart speed lets the same recorder cover both.
What is the temperature range?
It is not stated in the listing. Contact our team to confirm the temperature range before ordering.
