Covering 1.30 to 1.35 SG, the Brannan 10/930/0 belongs to the M50 series of general purpose specific gravity hydrometers. With a band of 1.30 to 1.35, it is used for liquids denser than water, giving relative density against water. Adjusted at 60 °F (15.6 °C), the M50 model 10/930/0 measures 270 mm overall and spans 0.050 SG with 0.001 SG divisions. Like the other M50 instruments, the 10/930/0 is similar to hydrometers in ISO 650 and in the now superseded 1960 issue of BS 718.
