Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko F3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 F probe, an integral probe for non-magnetic coatings on steel substrates. With the F fitted, the gauge reads 0–1500 µm (0–60 mils). For one-handed checks on coated steel, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
