Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko FJS3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 FJS probe, a cabled probe for thick protective coatings on ferrous metal substrates. With the FJS fitted, the gauge reads 0–25 mm (0–1.0 in). For thick coatings up to 25 mm on steel, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
