The DeFelsko PosiTest PC is a non-contact gauge that measures uncured powder thickness and predicts the cured film thickness. As a dedicated stand-alone unit with no cable, it measures from 19 mm away without disturbing the applied powder, which suits moving lines and swinging parts. Powder coaters use it to adjust application before curing and reduce rework.
- Range 20–100 µm (0.8–4.0 mils), based on TGIC-free polyester powder
- Accuracy ±5 µm (±0.2 mil); resolution 1 µm
- Measurement time 1–3 seconds at 19 mm distance
- Stores 999 readings; Scan Mode and USB Keyboard Mode
