The DeFelsko SST3 pairs the PosiTector SST conductivity probe with the Advanced gage body to measure soluble salts on metal surfaces by the Bresle method (ISO 8502-6/8502-9). It displays test duration, sample temperature, conductivity and surface density, and is used by coating inspectors to check steel for salt contamination before painting. Bresle patches are bought separately or in an SST kit.
