In order to satisfy the demand for a direct reading, single column instrument that provides extremely precise pressure readings—positive, negative, or differential—Dwyer® Series 1230 & 1235 Flex-Tube® Well Type Manometers were created. In contrast to other brands, Dwyer manometers don't contain packing glands or concealed wells. These instruments are made of clear, shatter-proof plastic tubing that is securely connected to well assembly at the joints that are cemented to prevent leaks. Solid acrylic plastic is machined accurately to create well assemblies. Over-pressure safety traps ensure that no fluid is lost. Scales are adjusted with a positive, fast-acting mechanism. The rating of these manometers is 100 psig (6.89 bar). After 5" Hg (68" w.c.), vacuum servicing is not advised.
