- Leak-resistant cemented joints between the plastic tube and well on the 16" water/mercury version
- No packing glands or concealed wells in the 16" water/mercury unit; well machined from solid acrylic
- Over-pressure safety traps keep the water/mercury in the 16" gauge
- Rated 100 psig (6.89 bar); vacuum service beyond 5" Hg (68" w.c.) not advised for the 1235-16-W/M
