The Series 616KD Differential Pressure Transmitters with One-Touch technology are designed to offer simplicity, making them ideal for both installers and maintenance professionals. These transmitters feature cost-effective and compact designs, reducing upfront costs and long-term expenses. They eliminate the need for cumbersome turn pots typically found in most transmitters and completely remove the requirement to span the instrument during calibration.
With a single digital push button, both ZERO and SPAN are calibrated accurately, without the need for additional reference pressure sources or separate calibration devices. There's no requirement to remove the transmitter from service and send it to a lab. All that's needed from the installer or user is to let the unit sit at zero reference pressure, then push a button, and it's ready for operation. This results in enormous time savings over the product's lifespan compared to traditional transmitters, which require annual removal from service and additional time for a complete full-span calibration.
