The affordable option for premium stainless steel ball valves for use in chemical, petrochemical, pulp & paper, and general industries is the Model BV2M100 Two-Piece Stainless Steel Ball Valve. The stem is made of 316 SS, and the Series BV2M body and endcaps are made of investment cast stainless steel. 15% glass reinforced polythene (PTFE) is used in the body seals and seats, offering bubble tight shutdown up to 1000 psig (69 bar) and wide media compatibility. Safety in the case of overpressure is provided by the internally loaded, blowout-proof stem. The whole port design minimizes pressure loss while enabling maximum CV. Automation is made easier with included actuator mounting pads.
