Dwyer Instruments CDTR-2D4D4 | Carbon Dioxide/RH/Temperature Transmitter | 2000 ppm CO2 range | Duct mount | 4 to 20 mA/0 to (5 or 10) VDC CO2 output | RH outputs & Pt100 O RTD temperature output
The Dwyer Instruments CDTR-2E404 is a wall-mounted carbon dioxide and relative humidity transmitter with a European housing. It measures CO₂ from 0-2000 PPM and relative humidity from 0-100% RH, with universal 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC outputs for integration with building management and HVAC control systems.
This model has no temperature output, making it suitable for applications where CO₂ and humidity monitoring are required without a separate temperature signal.

Product Overview
The Dwyer CDTR-2E404 is part of the Series CDTR Carbon Dioxide, Relative Humidity and Temperature transmitter family. It combines CO₂ and relative humidity measurement in a compact European wall-mount housing, reducing the need for separate sensors in indoor air quality and ventilation applications.
The transmitter provides a 0-2000 PPM CO₂ measurement range and 0-100% RH measurement range. Although the CDTR family supports temperature measurement on selected models, the CDTR-2E404 has no temperature output.
A single-beam dual-wavelength NDIR sensor measures CO₂ and automatically corrects the measurement for light-source aging. The transmitter also provides digital barometric pressure adjustment and field calibration to support accurate CO₂ monitoring.
Dwyer's Digital Intelligence Temperature Compensation Algorithm (DITCA™) is designed to compensate for measurement errors associated with self-heating in wall-mounted combination devices.
The CDTR-2E404 provides universal analog outputs for CO₂ and relative humidity. The outputs can be configured as 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC, allowing connection to a wide range of building management controllers. The current output supports a maximum 500 Ω load, while voltage outputs require a minimum 500 Ω load.
The humidity sensor is replaceable, and a physical hardware lockout helps protect configuration settings. Since the CDTR-2E404 does not include an integral LCD, a service display tool is available for setup and calibration.
The transmitter operates from 16-35 VDC or 19-28 VAC, with average power consumption of 2 W and peak consumption of 3.75 W. It is designed for 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C) operating conditions and 10-95% RH, non-condensing humidity conditions.
