For use in liquid applications such as air, gas, and water, the compact, general-purpose, two-way guide type solenoid valves Model SSV-B1N2 are available. They can be oriented in any direction and come in brass with a generally open shape. In addition to offering protection against oil seepage and noncorrosive coolants, the solenoid enclosure also offers protection against dust. The NBR seal that comes installed with the Series SSV-B valves has a maximum process temperature of 176°F (80°C). With orifices ranging from 3 mm to 50 mm and connection sizes from 1/8" to 2" NPT, the series offers a broad range of valve sizes and flow ranges.
