A component for explosion-proof grounding intended for hazardous environments is the Dwyer TR-7-X Safe-T-Ground. It can run on 1.75 watts without lights or 105-125 VAC 60 Hz with lights. Its temperature range is -13 to 104°F (-25 to 40°C). The enclosure has a DPDT, 10 amp, 125 VAC, 60 Hz contact rating and is constructed of a copper-free cast aluminum alloy. The enclosure is 6-5/8" W x 10-3/8" H x 5-5/8" D, with a 3/4" NPT conduit connection. It includes two grounding studs, a terminal strip for wiring, and 7/16" mounting lugs for installation. The grounding clamp has a 16-2 type SO coiled cable that is retractable to 3' and extendable to 16'. It is constructed of molded polyethylene and has contact clips made of berylium copper.
