The ETI 137-350 combines a type T thermocouple with a 1 metre lead in ETI's food simulant probe design. Type T accuracy of ±0.2 °C between -20 and 70 °C suits chilled and frozen food monitoring, and the probe's slow response mimics the thermal behaviour of food. This means brief air temperature rises, such as when a door is opened, are not mistaken for food warming.
