The ETI 810-030 is the charcoal grey DOT, a leave-in alarm thermometer for roasts and barbecue. The 114 mm penetration probe (810-078) stays in the meat while its 1.2 m stainless steel braided lead runs out to the display, which sticks magnetically to the oven or BBQ. Set a target and the 84 dB alarm sounds when the food is ready. The probe reads -50 to 300 °C.
