FEMA PTI and PTU pressure transmitters measure relative pressure in liquid and gaseous media. The PTI is a 2-wire device with an analogue current output, and the PTU is a 3-wire device with a voltage output. Typical fields of use are compressors, refrigeration plants and HVAC/R systems, where a stable analogue pressure signal is needed by the controller. FEMA groups them with its pressure transmitters for gas and liquid applications.
