Flexbar 15945 is a handheld ultrasonic thickness gauge for metals and non-metals such as aluminium, titanium, plastics, ceramics and glass, provided the part has parallel top and bottom surfaces. With the standard 5 MHz probe it covers 0.040 to 8 in in steel and displays in inch or millimetre after calibration to a known thickness or sound velocity. The kit includes the probe, couplant gel, manual, fitted carrying case and a NIST certified block.
