Flexbar 16117 is a 1 lb cake of Fine Proofing Alloy, melting at 117 °F, used to take replicas of dies, moulds, thread forms, grooves, splines, gear teeth and surface textures. Growth is +0.0002 in six minutes after casting and returns to zero at 30 minutes, the recommended point to remove and inspect the replica. It can be paired with Flexbar Facsimile for male-female-male or female-male-female transfers.
