With a 3⅜” reach, the Gagemaker MRP-3001 external crest diameter gage checks external threads in the 8⅝”–24” range. Its job on tapered threaded connections is to show diameter and ovality variation quickly, letting one MRP-3001 do the work of many ring or plug gages.
