This 7⅝” Buttress box-end setting standard (Gagemaker MRP5B-758B-B) is used to set MRP® crest diameter gages before inspecting API threaded connections. The rods locate the thread shoe and set shoe separation so 7⅝” Buttress box readings start from a known reference.
