This assortment of auto-locking tape measures is appropriate for heavy-duty to general-purpose applications, with certain models having both metric and imperial graduations and others having only metric ones. With nylon-coated blades that are reverse printed and ideal for measuring windows and ceilings, the blade is protected from damage by an ABS plastic housing. Every model has an automated brake that keeps the blade in place while in operation until the release control button is pressed. A belt clip and sliding magnetic hook are also advantageous to them.
