This model features an aperture diaphragm that guarantees the optimal light concentration and a height-adjustable condenser that allows for focussing.
The model has a coarse and fine focusing knob on either side for concentrating the object.
You can handle and move the samples quickly with the mechanical stage.

The KERN OBS line of classroom microscopes is a reliable and basic model with user-friendly control features.

The OBS 101 (condenser disc) and OBS 102 (fixed condenser) include a straightforward 0.65 condenser that provides the optimal light concentration and sample illumination.
The 1.25 Abbe condenser in the OBS 103, 104, 105, and 106 models is height-adjustable, allowing for focus, and it features an aperture diaphragm to guarantee the optimal light concentration.
Every model has a coarse and fine focusing knob on both sides for concentrating the object.
You can work with and move the samples quickly with the mechanical stage (only for OBS 105, 106).
