KERN ORA 3WA is a handheld analogue refractometer for wine with a Brix scale of 0-32 % (0.2 % readout) and an Oechsle scale of 30-140 °Oe (1 °Oe readout). Temperature compensation (ATC) keeps readings accurate between 10 and 30 °C.
It is particularly suited to measuring the sugar content of fruit such as grapes, indicating the expected alcohol degree and the ripeness. A storage box, calibration solution, pipette, screwdriver and cleaning cloth are included.
