Matherne Conventional Drilling Recorder | 1, 3, 5 or 7 Pen, 12/24 h Charts
The Matherne conventional drilling recorder logs up to seven drilling functions on duplicate 12-hour or 24-hour strip charts in English, metric or SI units. It is fully mechanical, needs no electrical power, and links to existing rig instrumentation through quick disconnects. Recorders come in 1, 3, 5 or 7 pen configurations and can be maintained by site personnel.
Key features
- Recordable functions: weight, penetration, rotary RPM, rotary torque, pump SPM, pump pressure, pit level and fluid flow
- Penetration marked every 1 ft and 5 ft (or 1/3 m and 1 m)
- Supplied with recorder stand, charts, derrick and dog house pulleys and a rate-of-penetration retriever
- Includes hydraulic and air hoses, air valve, filter regulator, E/P transducers for RPM/SPM and rotary torque hook-ups
- Diaphragm protector included for the pump pressure function
