The 2414A stem and spindle are made of high-strength, hardened steel, and the jeweled bearing offers minimal friction and wear resistance for precise, seamless operations. Through the use of an O-ring and secure adhesion between the frame and crystal, the indicator is shielded from oil and water intrusion through the front face. For improved durability and clearer readings, the crystal is coated to prevent scratches and glare. Without the need for tools, the outer clamp and optional lifting lever are readily fitted or removed and can be fastened to any side.
