With its 50 mm detector head and 0.1 µm resolution, the Mitutoyo ABS ST708A from the ST700 Series covers effective lengths from 100 mm to 3000 mm (3200 to 6000 mm optional). This ST708A version is specified for amplifiers supporting the Mitutoyo ENSIS interface (Nikki Denso VC Series, Servoland SVF Series, PMAC JAPAN controller), and its absolute (ABS) design gives position without returning to an origin.
