Mitutoyo 340-526 is a digital outside micrometer for 900 to 1000 mm that uses four interchangeable anvils to cover its wide range. At this size the maximum permissible error is ±18 µm and the variation in length is 12 µm; a ratchet stop keeps the measuring force constant.
