Mitutoyo 148-245 is a 0–5 mm analog micrometer head with 0.004 mm graduation and a spherical, SR1.5 radius spindle end. The stem is a 3.5 mm clamp-nut type (3 mm fixture thickness at the nut). Its spindle feed of 0.1 mm per revolution allows fine adjustment over 0–5 mm, with a clamp-nut stem. Its hardened steel (>60 HRC) measuring face works with a 0.1 mm pitch (148-245).
