Mitutoyo 525-328-11 is the W8 model of the Formtracer Avant D4000, a benchtop 2D roughness and contour instrument with a dual stylus system. It has a 200 mm traverse and 500 mm of vertical travel on a wide 1000 x 450 mm granite base.
On this 200 mm traverse, 500 mm Z2 model the contour measuring force is variable and set in FORMTRACEPAK, which also evaluates level difference, angle, pitch, area and tolerances.
