Mitutoyo 525-706-12 is the CS-H5000CNC H version of the Formtracer Extreme CNC roughness and contour instrument, with a 200 mm traverse and Z2 range of 500 mm, without Y-axis or α-axis units.
The 525-706-12 can analyse roughness and contour in one measurement, and a cabin with a vibration stand is included as standard.

- Accuracy X = (0.16+0.001L) µm; Z1 = (0.07+[0.02H]) µm
- Resolution X = 0.005 µm; Z1 = 0.0008 µm (standard stylus) or 0.0016 µm (double length stylus)
- Roughness measuring speed 0.02 - 0.2 mm/s, contour 0.02 - 2 mm/s; CNC drive up to 40 mm/s
- Granite base material; FORMTRACEPAK software controls all axes
