MF-J2017D is a measuring microscope of the MF Generation D with a motor-driven Z axis and an XY stage travelling 200 x 170 mm. The MF-J2017D stage top measures 410 x 342 mm, the unit weighs 150 kg, and it takes a 3X objective as its standard accessory.

- MF-J2017D indication accuracy at 20°C: (2.2+0.02L) µm in X and Y, (5+0.04L) µm in Z (L = measuring length in mm, unloaded, JIS B 7153)
- Glass area 270 x 240 mm within the 410 x 342 mm top, with up to 20 kg stage loading and workpieces to 220 mm high
- Remote box on MF-J2017D: speed adjustment, coarse/fine switching, jog shuttle, emergency stop, AF button and Z-axis limit setting
- X and Y axes on the MF-J2017D float and have a quick-release mechanism
- MF-J2017D uses ML-series objectives: 3X standard, with 1X, 5X, 10X, 20X, 50X and 100X as options
