The DHS215XEL is a hybrid contact and non-contact Heat Spy thermometer measuring -50 to 1000 °C with an extra long range 50:1 distance to spot ratio. A Type K thermocouple plugged into the side serves as a reference, and built-in software uses it to determine the target's emissivity and set the instrument automatically. It is the economy model with USB data logging through the included Heat Spy PC software.
